CRIME HIGHNESS; The need for IT knowledge

CRIMINOLOGY as a discipline under sociology is nothing but the study of crime in a scientific way/application of science in studying crime. Crime science involves the application of scientific methodologies to prevent or reduce social disorder and find better ways to prevent, detect, and solve crimes all see crime as the part and parcel of every society, the study of crime is just not about post-crime actions but also pre-crime measures and the two has been in process since the development of criminology as a course.
From the knowledge in criminology what constitutes a crime is nixed because of different views of scholars, these views majorly talk about time, place (society). The progression of crime into cyberspace brings about cyber criminology which is the study of the causation of crimes that occur in cyberspace and their impact on the physical space as a sub-discipline of criminology whose founder is the developer of space transition theory Prof. Karuppannan Jaishankar(Indian Criminologist).
This evolution of cyber criminology is to surmount the "highness of crime" in cyberspace but moreover, there is a need for both criminologists and cyber criminologists to acquire Information Technology knowledge such as coding, tracking, and all other aspected of IT as cybercrime is among the most committed crime now.

Paul Tappan also defines crime  as “an intentional act or omission in violation of criminal law …, committed without defense or justification, and sanctioned by the state as a felony or misdemeanor.” The two definitions all talk about the violation of crim...
