JUST IN: The Institute of Information Communication Technology bill was passed

Following Sen. Oriolowo's presentation of a bill to create the Institute for Information and Communication Technology in Iwo, Osun State, the bill was passed, and the bill was handed over to the Senate committee on ICT and Cyber Security a few weeks ago.

Senator Yakubu Oseni, on the Institute of Information and Communication Technology, Iwo, Osun State (Establishment) Bill, 2022, however, submitted the committee's report.

The Bill for its establishment was then read in the Nigerian senate, and it was passed for the third time.
